Fruit Bat

Cambodian Fruit Bats (Flickr)
* "This fruit bat colony has lived in the grounds of this monastery since the Khmer Invasion in Cambodia, where they were driven from their caves. The population was nearly destroyed by hungry locals as they no longer had the protection from the caves, but once they settled in the trees of the monastery, they were safe from the locals dinner plates and have remained there ever since."
